Freelems

Freelems is a 100% male hybrid, extremely suitable for growing green asparagus in areas with a temperate climate. Freelems combines an early production start with high yields. Freelems has a perfect head closure and very good stem weight, which means that over 80% of the harvest falls into the best yielding grades.

Some characteristics of Freelems: 

• Freelems is suitable for both light and heavy soils
• Freelems is a variety that grows easily and is robust
• Freelems is less sensitive to Stemphilium and/or Puccinia, but Freelems is more sensitive to Botrytys.
